Central Otago A & P. Association.
A meeting of members of the above association was held at Ophir on Thursday afternoon last, Mr E. F, Gerkens in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. ° After some discussion regarding the erection of buildings for dairy produce and grain exhibits, it was resolved, on the motion of Mr Isbister, seconded by Mr Gerkens—That Messrs M'Knight Bros, be given the contract, the price being £l7 10s. Messrs Laidlaw, Kinney, Ramsay, Fraser, and Haw'son were appointed a. committee to lay off the grounds. On the motion of Mr Buchanan, seconded by Mr GerkeDS, it was resolved that the Minister of Railways J be asked to arrange for excursion fates i from Dunedin and irtermediate stations, starting on November 17th, and. also that a special train be run from Middlemarch on the morning of show ciay. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair. "-%<U- •>
