PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Alexandra, at a Special Meeting, held for the purpose, on Monday, 17th October/ 1904, duly passed the following Special Resolution intended to operate as a Special firder : " In pursuance and IxeTciee of the powers and authorities/rest<e/T in i( in that behalf, by section 162Jof' 'She Municipal Corporations Act, 190qf thtfCounpil of the Borough of Alexandra herej& resofvß9<«w£ellows: — ' That the balance/of moneys lying to credit of the Wateshrorks Loan Accounts, after defraying ail expenses and costs in connection with the aforesaid water works, and being the surplus of the loan of £7OO borrowed under the provisions of ' The Local Bodies Loans a ct, 1901,' and amendments, for the special purpose of completing the construction of the waterworks aforesaid, be hereby devoted for the purpose of defraying tbe cost of effecting repairs to the Town Hall and Library buildings, the property of the Corporation of the Borough of Alexandra. And further, that a Special Meeting of the said Council be held in the Council Chambers, on Monday, the 14th day of November, 1904, for the purpose of corifrming the foregoing Special Resolution intended to operate as a Special Order'."
