A HOSPITAL FOE CATS. Yes, although it may sound rather improbable, there really are Cats' Hospitals i evary day, suffering from ail kinds of ailments; and whether it ia measles or a sprained foot or a broken tail, the clever doctors at tha hospital ate nearly always able to make them quite well again. Each puasy-patient has her ownfcjbasket, lined with nice soft straw j and if lae has something ' oaiching,' or is very bad, she ia kept in a tiny cubicle by herself. Then, when she goi* better, the do;tor oatriea her, basket and all. into the big dermitory, whare there are lots of ether patientsall getting batter. When the c»ta ace nearly weH, thay are sent out into a sunny jrarden for an hour or two every day. —in some cases, perhaps, more than they would at home, At seven o'clock they have breakfast—a basin of bread-and? milk—and at eleven o'clook a saucer ol milk. For dinner, at ona, fish and meat is pro* vided, and later on in the afternoon they have more milk and some meat. "<vt3tatf The cftis are thoroughly looked after by the nurses. They are washed, have their claws attended to, and their coats brushed every day, and some of them make aa much turn over it aa certain little people I know when nurse washes their faces.
