ALEXANDRA JOCKEY OLTJB. The annual meeting of the above club was held on Tuesday evening last, Mr S Cameron presiding. The minutes of the last annual msetiuff were read and confirmed. The following office-bearers were'appoinr. Ed for the ensuing year ;—President, Mr W S Laidlaw; vice presidents, Messrs S Cam. eron and T P Beck; judge, Mr D Bringjms • starter, Mr J W Perriam; clerk of oonwe Mr J Nieper, cleik of totalisator, Mr W Noble; clerk of scales, Mr 0 Mcintosh timekeepers, Mr G Rivers; handicapper, M J Paget; auditor, Mr L B Grimstone. Drs Gregg and Hyde were elected honor ary surgeons. Messrs Laidlaw, Cameron, Briagan*. Noble and Beck were elected a protest committee. It was resplved that the annual ;sc« meeting be.held on Friday, December 18ih, and that £275 be given in stakes.

The President, and Messrs Eyan, Papet Cameion, Rivers, and Bringans were p pointed a programme committee. It was resolved that tenders be called fo the advertising and printing, Messrs Roberts and Co.'s offer to work the totalisator was accepted, A hearty .vote pi thanks was acoorded the secretary (Mr L Kyan) for the capable and efficient manner in which he had di»charg§4 his duties during the year. The meeting closed with a vote of thank* to the chair.
