INDIGESTION.
Its Symptoms and its Giro..
Suppose all vent wrong at a railway goods yard; tracks for the north were shunted on to the sooth line; local traffic was hitched to the South Coast train; geods for the south were despatched by the northern express—would'nt there be confusion, probably wreck 1 Now, if you have indigestion your " goods traffic " is tops?-turvy. Goods—nourishing substance*—which should be sent to the brain, are packed off to the intestines. Substances which should be expelled from the body altogether are turned on to the main line, that is* they're poured into the blood, and allowed to run through* out the whole system. Naturally, there is confusion, and sometimes wreck. The blood is poisoned—-that causes headache. There is constipa-tion—-that is because the liver has not been properly treated, and refuses to go on secreting bile—the natural aper» ient of the body. Sometimes then is a sensation of hunger. Then a rush of poisoned blood to the veins of the stomach changes the feeling to one of nausea. Away goes this blood to the head, and causes dizziness and "specks before the eyes," Then the gastric glands, having had no supplies sent them in the form of healthy blood, throw up work. The food taken lies in the stomach until it ferments, and then its foul gases distend the organs and add acute pain to the confusion already existing. All this is caused, mind, by Indigestion—the working of the supply centre going wrong/ Indigestion thus seta mp -•> score of other ailments. Now, Bile Beans, applied in a condition of this kind, aot wonderfully. They stimulate the inactive glands to healthy effort. They gently open the bowels, and thus rid the bedy of impurities. The liver begins work again under their influence, It purifies the blood of the bile which has escaped into it. The blood thus paria fied ceases to carry about poison, and takes health instead. Headache ceases, appetite returns, wind and pain arebwnished, and the whole working system is reorganised and run on smooth lines. This is no empty simile Bi!e Beans are doing this every day. Just as one striking example, take the following ease j—Mrs A Smart, of Peter Street, Oaveraham, Dunenin, Says j—««I have been a great sufferer in the past with Indigestion and its accompanying headaches, and tried many ao*ealled remedies in the hope of being rid of these complaints, but eouli not even gain relief from any of them. Jive years ago I decided to give Bile Beans a trial, and, much to my surprise, the first few doses gave me relief at once, and, continuing the course, I was completely cured. I can confidently recommend Bile Beans to fellow-sufferers. They are mild and pleasant to take, and do not give those griping pains so common to many other medicines." Bile Beans are obtainable from all medicine vendors at 1/$ or 2/9 large box (containing three time the quantity), At this trying season no home should be with* out a box,
