COSTUME WITH FEENCH CAPE. fjjSRHE skirt gathered or tucked to the fwAg waistband is now much preferred CH&9 to the skirt fitted with darts over the hips, and when caref ally maie is becoming and graceful. The walking dress sketched illustrates one of the new ekitts and Prench capes. The original is in nut-brown cloth, and the skirt, tucked over the hips, is finished with a full
flounce, slightly tucked on the upper part and arranged in folds below. The flounce corresponds with the smart little cape, which is also tucked at the top and arranged in small folda near the hem. The stole-collar of white cloth is trimmed with tiny gold buttons, and a French bow of brown silk finishes the neck.
