Messrs Bob Hall and Tom Shaw-Valentine, who are the popular proprietors of this remarkably clever organisation, will be favourably remembered here as members of Montgomery's Entertainers, who have visited the goldfields on more than one ocoasion. Mr B*b Hall was the comedian of Montgomery's show and Mr Tom Shaw-Valentine was the expert operator for the same company. The present organisation consists of an array of versatile artists of exceptional calibre. Though the medium of the biograph some marvellous animated views of the Russo-Japanese War will be depicted, besides several sensational vaudeville acts and novelties from all parts of the world." Among the war "pictures is a magnificienfc reproduction of Port Arthur, the present centre of absorbing interest, showing its arsenals, forts, harbour, and views along the water frontier. The machine will be manipulated by Mr Tom ShawValentine, who is known here as a master of his art and is eulogistiqally commented upon by the Australian, Tasmanian and New Zealand press. Mr Bob Hall, who is the prinoe of all comedians, will appear in a gilt-edged repertoire of humerous and comic sketches. He is an artist who always keeps his audiences in shrieks of laughter. Mr Dudley Trent, who is the possessor of a rich baritone voice, will sing several beautifully illustrated story ballads, for which he has everywhere received flattering notices. - Mr Ohas. Clark will superintend the musical portion of the programme and the other members of the company will dispense dainty musical items in a captivating manner. The Company will appear at Clyde on Monday night, and at Roxburgh on Tuesday night, afterwards visiting all the towns on the goldflelds, to which they will be conveyed by a special line of.coaches supplied by Messrs Craig and Co.
