A letter from the secretary of the Wakatipu Hospital ra the admission of consumptive patients was read. The secretary was instructed to consult with Dr Hyde and reply according. The visiting committee reported the hospital buildings and grounds to be in order, and recommended that the poultry yard be securely enclosed with wire netting. Resolved—That the recommendations of the visiting committee be carried out, The surgeon's report was read as follows:—Number of patients in hospital Ist April, 4 ; since admitted, 5 ; discharged, 5; remaining in hospital Ist May, 4; outdoor patients treated, 3 The patients admitted were from— Alexandra 1, Bald Hill Flat 2, Ohatto Greek 2. The treasurer's statement, Bhowing a credit balance at date of £45 2s 6d was read and received. Accounts for the month of April JffiFS t0 £M 6 * 6d (including £lO 2s 6d on account of water supply) were passed for payment, Messrs Barry and Jffaylor Jr were appointed visiting committee, vice Messrs Pitches and Wilson retiring. The requisition on the Otago Hos pital Board for. 4s 4d, including £250 for connecting the hospital with the Clyde Water Supply, was laid on the tabic, and after cxamniation was agreed to. The meeting then eloacd.
