Dunstan Hospital.
The ordinary monthly moating of the trustees of the DunstanDistrict Hospital was held at Pydo on the 13th inst, Present —Messrs "Button (chairman), B Naylor juu*, J Wilson, W 0 Fitches, B M'Manns, T Barry, and H Kdsar.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
The eorrespondenee included a letter from Mr Jas. Bonnet, M.H.8.. enclosing 41 la subscription to the ftte.de of the hospital. The visiting committee reported that everything m and about the in* stjtution wee satisfactory} that the removal of the fence in front of the hospital building wa« a great Improvement ; and recommending that a range high pressure boiler be obtained for the surgeon's residence. The surgeon's report, as follows, was read and received J Number of patients in hospital, 9; Admitted during the month, f ; discharged, * J died, 1 ; remaining, 4j outdoor patients, 8. The patients admitted were fposa—. Ohatto Creek, 8 $ Alesasdre, 1; Bald Hill flat, 1; Shingle Greek, If; Ophir I; Kawea Flafc, 1. The treasurer's report shewing a credit balance of £l4 9s td was read and received.
Salaries and accounts for the past month, amounting to SBS lis fid,were passed for payment. It was resolved that a subcommittee, consisting of the chairman, treao surer, and Mr Pitches be appointed ta draw up a requisition to the CentrlQtago Hospital Board and it was a resommandation that they, apply for £350 for the water supply. The question of a range for the Burgeon's residence was held over, an estimate of the cost to be obtained meantime. The meeting then closed.
