Golf.
The annual meeting' /i the Alexandra Golf Club was held on Mondav *' ven j ne when the following <£ C e-bearers were ejected for *>•; coming year :-President, u B Griragkne, Vice-presidents, Dr Gregg, Messrs A' J Campbell, and J J O'Kane; committee, Messrs W Murray, F Young, and J A O'Kane; handicappers, Messrs Grimstone, Young, and J A O'Kane; secretary, Mr J B Bartholomew. It was resolved that the subscription fee be 7s 6d for gentlemen and 4s for ladies, and that the season be opened on 21st April with a combined foursome.
The enthusiasm displayed at the meeting augurs well for a successful season's golf. Same new members are expected, and they will add an increased interest to the sport.
