i The following business of local interest was transacted at last week's meeting of the Waste Lands Board : The Vincent Oounty Oouncil, forwarded a statement of proposed expenditure of " thirds " and " fourths " for the period sth October, 1903, and 2nd January, 1084.—Approved. Applications for rural land on lease on lease in perpetuity were approved as follows: —Elizabeth A Morgan, section 3, block vn, St Bathans district; Ann Louisa Hanger, section 89, block 1, St Bathans district.
Applications to be allowed to transfer leases or licenses were dealt with as follows:—Bun 225f, Blackstone district, Hardie, jun, to Barbara Nicholson A pproved. —Section 25, block xni, Blackstone district, William Marshall to Donald Nicholson, jun— Approved. —Run 2245, Blackstone district, William Marshall to James M'Keeman—Approved. John Harley applied for 10 acres, south side of Alexandra-Ophir road, Leaning Rock district, on occupation lease.—Referred to District Surveyor Wilmot for report. Ranger O'Neill reported on the application of D D M'Gregor for an occupation lease over 100 acres in block 1, St Bathans district.-—Declined.
