The following business of local interest was transacted at last week'* meeting of the Waste Lands Board : Application to be allowed to transfer lease or license: Run 244 i, Tiger Hill, George N. M'lntosh to Alexander P M'lntosh.—Ranger to report. Alexander Reid renewed his application for an area of 200 acres on Moutere Run, at Springvale.—Granted s abject to survey; With regard to the petition from Alexandra in reference to"the block of land on Galloway and Moutere runp forwarded by Mr Bennett, MH.R., through the Surveyor-General, it was decided to reply (1) that the part of Gilloway Run referred to was. held under Class I, and therefore could not be resumed unless under arrangement! with the lessee; and (2) re Moutere run the Surveyor-General to be in- * formed that the portion asked for was < now being surveyed for settlement,
