The following business of local interest was transacted at last week's meeting of the Land Boord ; Alexander M'Kenzie applied for an occupation lease under " The Mining Distriets Land Occupation Act, 1894," over about 200 acres on Moutere Run. —Declined ; the Jand being now under survey for settlement. Applications to be allowed to transfer leases or licenses :—Run . 225p, Blackstone district, George Hardie, jun, to Barbara Nicholson (Herdman and Kirk, solicitors). —Referred to ranger for report.
