J -The following is the proposed programme for the Central Otago Trotting Club's forthcoming race meeting : 1 Maiden, of 15sovs, 1 £ miles. 2 Goldfields Oup, of 40a0v5,2 miles. . 3 Novel Handicap, of 20sbvs, 1| mjles. 4. .Central Handicap, of 15sovs, 1 mile. ; '•& Middle Handicap <sf.3osovs (for horses handicapped to do 2.50 or better), 1| miles. 6 Consolation Handicap, of £l2 10s, 1 mile. Ponies to carry 10 stone, horses 11 stone, . t ... The programme will be submitted for approval at a meeting of the club to be held on Saturday evening nest.
