The Otago Central.

TO BE CONTINUED TO ALEXANDRA. Our Dunedin correspondent wired on Tuesday that the Hon W HallJones, interviewed on the subject at Timaru, stated that there would be no deviation of the Otago Central line from the original survey, and that the line would be carried on to Alexandra. -A representative of this paper the other day noticed that culverts were being constructed on the line of the railway below Ohatto Greek Hotel, and this tact would seem to confirm the Minister's statement. Obviously, the idea of deviating the line in the direction of Clyde has not been entertained by the Department.
