The Eleventh Annual Baby Farad* a< Anhury Park Witnessed hy 80,000 Pomona. '!'

Asbury Park's eleventh annual baby parade attracted 50,000 spectators to the shore front the other afternoon. All of them cheered to the echo the 510 babies and children as they passed in review before the judges. The parade took place on Ocean avenue, which was covered with matting for its entire length. In the front of a sland sat the judges.-. Miss Grace Crawford, gowned in a. Grecian robe, acted the queen. • Her maids of honor were Miss Florence Broadbent ir.d Mabel Parks, of Philadelphia; vlips Bessie Dickerson, of New .York; Miss Ruth Dunbauth, of Pueblo, Col.; Miss Hazel E. Ovtennan, of Kingston, N. Y., and Miss Inea Q. Phillip*, oi Cleveland, O. * ~>■• Much originality wu displayed. In preparing the baby carriages for the prizes, aggregating over SI,OOO in value, ranging from $25 to $l5O. In the throng were ten sets of twin*, representing Glen iiidge, N. J.; Chicago, Asbury Park, Trenton, Ocean Qrove Heights, Brooklyn, New York city and Newark. In all the paraders r«pr**en,ted 05 cities. The SIBO silver loving cup went to Virginia Hope Kelaey.
