• •■ — ♦ '"'.-. - • On Thursday last, Mr Jas. Rivers, chairman of the Alexandra Branch of the Otago Central? Railway League, wired to the Hon. W. Hall Jones, Minister of Public Works, asking at what date he purposed inspecting the railway works. In reply the Minister wired that the date of his visit to the line was not yet fixed, but he would advise Mr Bivers when definite arrangements were made.
