Lawn Tennis.
ALBXANDBA V. CEOMWBLL. A tennis match was played between the Cromwell and Alexandra Clubs on the' local. club's courts last Monday afternoon, and resulted in a decisive win for the visitors, who secured a majority of 47 games. Unfortunately, the weather was very disagreeable, a drizzling rain, which fell almost without intermission during the day, making matters rather unpleasant, both for players and spectators. Many of the games were keenly contested, and evoked a good deal of interest. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies of the local club.
