The Weather.
Heavy rain fell throughout the district on Tuesday night, the down* pour lasting for several hours. All' the creeks and rivers came down in high flood yesterday, but the effect of the rain will be beneficial to agricul* turists, pastoralists and gardeners, and . from their point of view the outlook for the coming season is an unusually promising one.
