'Me,' replied Sal, in an unssiuming manner, «Ob, I'll just have a mouthful.' < No, that you won't!' hastily returned the first speaker, ' you'll 'ave to be content with a pint like the rest of us!» Mrs Van Wimper •. ' You never g&y nice things to me now as you did before we were married. You used to tell me I was pretty.' Van Wimper; ' Well, you were.'
