On Saturday afternoon last the members of the above club competed for a watch, presented by a Dunedin gentleman, Mr B Burgess being returned as the winner, after shooting off a tie against Mr A Larsen. Following are principal scores : B Burgess (12yds) 1110111101 ... 8 A Larsen (3yds) 1111110101 ... ... 8 R Forrest (syds) 0011111011 7 E King (Syds) 0010110011 ... ... 5 In shooting the tie, Mr Burgess broke four out of five birds, Mr Larsen missing two, On Saturday nest, a match for a silver pencil case, will be fired, We would again draw the attention of our readers to the Shooting Competition for <£lo, which takes place on Saturday, 31st October.
