Dunstan District Hospital.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the trustees of the above institution, held on October sth, was attended by Messrs Jeffery (chairman), H Edsor, C C Button, B Naylor, J Wilson, and T Barry. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co, agents of Galloway Station, wrote enclosing annual subscription of £5, and Messrs Kempthorne, Prosser and Co sent their annual subscription of £1 Is.

Resolved—That the thanks of the trustees be conveyed to Messrs Campbell and Sons of Galloway Station, and to Messrs Kempthorne and Co for their continued support. The- Visiting Committee reported everything satisfactory in and about the institution.

Resolved—That the Visiting Committee be empowered to obtain oilcloth for the kitchen corrider.

The surgeon's report, after dealing with the admission and discharge of patients, dealt at length with the question of water supply, also with distempering the internal walls of the hospital, recommending the use of " Indelibo " as being a good and cheap article, was read and confirmed.

Messrs Naylor arid Barry were reelected members of the Visiting Committee.
