SOAP AND WATER HOLIDAY.
'Health Day' is the name of a bow legal holiday appointed by tbe Utah (US. A) Legislature. On the first Monday in October it is compulsory for every person in the State to clean and disinfect thoroughly dwelling houses, stores, theatres and public halls. There is a penalty of JBIO for failure to observe the act. Johnny (in the garden): 'Father! father! Look out of the window.' Father (putting out his head): • What a nuisance you children are. Wnat do you want now ?' Johnny (with a triumphant glance at his plajfellow) : * Tommy Brooks wouldn't believe jou'd got no hair on the top of your head.' Frog farming in Canada is said to ba assuming largo proportions owing to the great demand for frogs' legs in the United States. One frog farm in Ontario last year produced GOOOlbs of dressed frogß* legs, and 7000 frogs for scientific purposes. Fond Mother: 'Are you better, my deatP' Little Effie: * I dunno; is the jelly all gone?' If it is I'm well enough to get up.J
