: Clyde Dramatic Olub played "The Magistrate:' -at. Clyde; on the 7th inst. to a packed house, and with great success, everyone voting it to to have been one of the best amateur productions ever seen in Clyde. l The Magistrate' is,one of, Pinero's finest comedies, in three acts, and is full of amusing situations and witty dialogue. There are 16 characters, all of which are exceptionally well impersonated by the Clyde amateurs. , , The Club will repeat ' The Magistrate' at Alexandra on Friday, Sept. 4th, in aid of S. Aidan's Church, and we strongly advise everyone to make a point of seeing the production of one of the cleverest comedies ever written.
