#■ • In the " Gazette " of August 13th, appears a proclamation under the band of His Excellency the Governor, temporarily reserving the land described in the schedule hereto annexed, under section 235 of the " Land Act. 1882": SCHEDULE. "All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 97 acres more or less, being Section No 1, Block xxxvn, Town of Alexandra. Bounded towards the north-west by the Town Belt, 3795 links, thence towards the north-east by the Otago Central Railway Reserve, 3326 links; thence towards the south-east by a street-line, 1518 links; and thence towards the south-west by a water race reserve and Cropkhaven Street, 3438 and 800 links respectively; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 44881, deposited in , the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District; and thereon bordered red. For a recreation re- - serve."
