And leave me but little of patience, I With the Belf-btyled ' bon-ton ' folk of village and city, Who Eeem to deem life just one long pleasure day, And who epea* of their 'cousins' in ways meant to be witty, As if from the country the world was away. Is lural life commonplace? So then is the flower, That speaks of God's love for all beautiful things. And rare plumaged birds fhttißg from bower to bower, And e'en His own eunehine that to every life brings A ray of bright hope from our commonplace earthland.
