PHYSICAL CULTURE.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—As one who takes considerable interest in physical development, I venture to write a few lines hoping that they will be the means of some movement being made to form a class in Alexandra. I presume the Borough Council would let the town hall for such a purpose, and it would appear that the chief difficulty would be to get a suitable instructor. Surely, however, in a town Hke ours there is some one who is capable of controlling such a class and it remains for that individual to come forward, when, I feel sure, quite a number of our youths would take advantage of the instruction. I need not touch upon the benefits to be derived from physical culture.—-I am, &c, Cms.
