LORD ANTRIM is a bay colt, foaled in November, 1898, and was bred'by John Stewart, Esq., of Crookston. His sire Wallace, imported by Hugh Res; Esqv, of Melbourne. Wallace's sire, Golden Treasure (4*17,0 S B), g-sire, Lord Erskine (1744 0 SB), was also sire of the unbeaten horse Cairbrogie Stamp; g-g-sire Boydston Boy (111, 0 S B), won thud prize at the Highland Society's Show, Aberdeen, 1878. g;g-g-sire, Prince Charlie (6i29, 0 8 B>, won the Androssan Premium in 1873, and the Saleoats Premium same year; g-gig-g sire, Vanquisher (890, 0SB) : g-g-g»g-g sire, Loch Fergus Champion (449, OSB g'g-g-g-g-g-sire; Salmond's Champion (737 OSB); g-g-g-g-g-g-g-sire, Farmer (248 C SB); g g-g-g-g-g-g-g-sire, Glancer (888 C SB) won the second prize at the Highland Society's Show, Glasgow, in 1850. His dam, Mag, by the late Peter Grant's famous Gowrie stud horse, Sir Colin (imp. by Samson, out of the noted Lbchead mare, Jess, by Old Sir Colin. Mag's dam is one of the late Peter Grant's famous Marquis mares.
