GOLF.

The annual meeting of members of the Alexandra Golf Club was held on Wednesday evening, March 18th. [There was a good attendance, and the | President (Mr L.B. Grimstone) occu pied the chair, The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The following gentlemen were appointed office-bearers for the ensuing year:—President, Mr L. B. Grimstone; vice-presidents, Dr Gregg, Messrs A. J. Campbell, and J. G. Closs; committee, Messrs J. A, O'Kane, F. Young, and J. D." Buchanan; handicappers, Dr Gregg, Messrs J. A. O'Kane, and F. Young; secretary, Mr Bartholomew. The subscription was fixed at 7s 6d for gentlemen and 4s for ladies; and it was resolved that girls over 15 years of age be eligible for membership. It was resolved that the season be opened with a foursome match on Thursday, April 16th. The meeting closed with the usual compliment to the chairman.
