The general opinion is that a mixed committee will be returned. Captain Voss, in the Tilikum, left Dunedin to-day, for Oamara. ; A large crowd gathered to see them off, and a number of the Otago Yacht Club's boats escorted him down the harbor. Some excitement was caused by a boat being run down by a yacht, but the crew were speedily rescued; ,J France threatens to send troops to Kwaogsi, China, unless the rebellion there is speedily crushed. ** Britain has arranged to attach British officers to Japan's army, and will later oh attach Japanese to the Britisharmy. f;
