The following business, in addition to that reported-in last issue, was transacted at the Warden's Court, Ophir, on February 26th : William Robert Neville.— A pplic >•- tion for half-head of water from Station Creek, Ida Valley. Obj c'ed to by Wm Brady and others (Mr Kirk). \fter argument by counsel, and evidence of several witnessis,, it was agreed that applicant should be allowed to take half a head ouly so long,as the water, in the creek over.and above the natural supplv of the creek for the time being was sufficient to supply the right. The creek is supplied to a great extent by the leakage from the Bona* za race. —Mr Macdonald and Mr L. Ryan appea red for a ppl ica nt. James Neville (Mr Hutton) applied for one heaH of water from same creek. This application. was opposed by the same parties, represented by Mr Kirk, and it was agreed between the parties, that applicant should obtain a ! icense for half a head on the same condition as that to which W R Neville's grant was subject ; James Neville's grant to be subject also to W R Neville's.
