Small studs and euff-tmttons of baroque pearla will appeal to the shirtwaist girL It is predicted that brown will be a favorite color in the autumn. Costor, beaver and aibeline tone* will all be seen. Gobelin blue and other old blue shades are favorite* juat now la Paris, and many artistic gown* hare been seen in theae tint*. . Pearla and brilliant* form seme of the handsomest hat pin*. Many enameled onea are made in imitation of Florentine and Russian mosaic*. Apparently the correct suit for early fall tennis, yachting and boat* ing ia to be white, with *tyli*h choice reating between Mrge, alpaca and flannel. One stunning gown of whit* serga was plaited at aide* and back, the plait* finished with a stitched band of bright red taffeta. Another was trimmed with straps of bright green. Very striking effects in trimming •re made wita blaek velvet ribbon, in striping, crossing and reero&sing to such an extent that whole gown* are literally covered with it. Colored velvet ribbons, too, are meed in many fanciful designs.
