THE MEAT TRUST SPEAKS, Oh, say. Look my way. I am the Meat Trust; You've seen me discussed In the papers; and say, They've tried to lay Me oat, haven't they ? Bat I don't care, I've got money. And I want more. What odds if the p :or Do have to sacrifice In order to meet my prlc 3 P D» I pell meat For the poor to eat Because I love the poor. Or for the profits that inara To my benefit P Do I siveadam Whaf s the price of ham. 80 long as it's big enough ? I'm out for the stuff. And I'm willing to pinch Anybody to hold my cinch; And though the poor go hungry, And though the rich may kicV, I make them pay the prices That bring me money quick. I control The body and soul Of the meat trade. And the profits I've made Are enough to warrant the bluff lam making for more. The poos Hare got a few dollars yet.
And you bet I want them. See ? That's me, The Heat Trust, The Food Grabber That holds back what man must eat For the strength to meet The daily demand On head and hand .
