Results of yesterday’s games Avere: Open championship—Second round; W. H. Kirk beat Mrs P. Hooper, 26-10, 26-19; Mrs Kirk beat Mrs F. Hanger, 26-16, 26-11; Mrs R. H. Clarke beat Mrs L. Stockdale, 26-17, 26-24. Women’s championship—First life, third round: Mrs J. A. Paddy beat Mrs J. Cleary, 26-14; Mrs M. Macmillan beat Mrs A. L. Bonar, 26-22; Mrs H. Thompson beat Mrs M.
