WEST GERMAN SECURITY
DR. ADENAUER SEEKS v GUARANTEE f BONN, Feb. 266. Reuter says that the West German Chancellor (Dr. Konrad Adenauer) has asked Western Powers, through their High Commissioners, to give West Germany “an unreserved security guarantee.” According to the West German news agency, Dr. Adenauer said that he was strictly opposed to any remilitarisation of Western Germany, but it was the obligation of the Western Powers to protect Federal territory.
