MALAYAN TERRORISTS : (Rec. 10.0 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 26. Malaya’s “anti-bandit month” _ was launched to-night without warning. It was the signal for more than 350,000 Chinese, Malay, European and Indian civilians who have volunteered to take part in the drive against Communist terrorists to go into action m support of the security forces. All police, army and Government leave has been cancelled, and rewards doubled for unlicensed arms and ammunition. Special extra awards are also ottered for the capture, dead or alive, or any bandit identified.
