MURDER CHARGE
young man remanded (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 24. A charge of murdering Frederick Stanley Hodson at Te Teko on February 13 was preferred in the Magistrate’s Court to-day against Chcsley Lachland Brooks, aged 20, who was bom in England. On the application of the police, Brooks was remanded to appear at Whakatane on March 16, the accused consenting. Senior-Detective Fell said that the preliminary hearing would then be taken.
