ALLEGED REMOVAL OF SAFE

TWO MEN PLEAD NOT GUILTY (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Feb. .23. The removal of a safe containing £623 in cash and other contents of a total value of £923 ISs from Shorters Rental Cars, Ltd., Shortland Street, was alleged against Geoffrey James Ross,-aged 30, truck driver, and William Allan Goldman, aged 20, seaman, in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. They were jointly charged with breaking, entering and theft on the night of January 30. A Government analyst and a constable gave evidence concerning the movements of a motor-truck near the premises. Both the accused pleaded not, guilty apt! were committed by Mr S. McCarthy, S.M., to the Supreme Court for trial.
