QUEEN MAUD’S LAND EXPEDITION

NORSEL LANDS WINTER PARTY LONDON, Feb. 23. The Antarctic expedition ship Norsel has landed 15 men, who will spend the, winter on Queen Maud’s. Land. The winter party comprises six Norwegians, five Britons and four Swedes. The Norsel sailed for Cape Town on Monday. It is expected that the winter party will set up wireless contact in from eight to 10 days. With the permission of King Haakon, the winter quarters will be named “Maudheim” in memory of the late Queen Maud of Norway.
