TECHNICAL SCHOOL GIRLS’ SPORTS HELD W * The annual swimming sports of Ashburton Technical High School girl pupils were held in fine weather yesterday at the school baths. Good entries were received, and, throughout the afternoon, some interesting events were tvitnessed, all the swimmers receiving a barrage of vocal support.
The winner of the senior championship was Pamela Fitzgerald, who secured an aggregate of .27 points out of a' possible 35. Fay Burnaby won the junior championship.
