Farmers and Cars
At yesterday’s meeting of the MidCanterbury executive of Federated Farmers Mr. T. V. Wilkinson brought up the matter of the difficulty farmers who wanted cars were faced with. It was pointed out that the question was already in the Dominion executive's hands, but it was agreed that the Dominipn Council be urged to make further representations. A suggestion was made that it would be a good idea to have a survey of farmers' needs made, as had been recently done in the case of tractors.
