EDUCATIONAL ASHBURTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL. EVENING CLASSES. rPHE School Office will be open between 7 and 8.30 p.m. on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY, February 22 and 23, for enrolment purposes. Enrolments will be taken as follows: — WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22: All apprentice classes (Building Trade, Engineering Trade, Motor Trade, Electrical Trade), Senior and Junior Cabinet Making, Welding, Automotive Electricity, Trade Certification, Motor Mechanics, Engineering Metalwork. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23: Accountancy, Bookkeeping, Commercial Law, Commercial Art, Shorthand, Typing, Dressmaking, Embroidery, Crafts, Cookery. Classes in other subjects will be formed if sufficient numbers enrol. Intending students are requested to enrol on the night set down for their particular subjects. ALL intending students must pay the enrolment fee of 2/6, and the maintenance fee -(5/- for most subjects) for their chosen subjects. Paying students (non-free place holders) must pay a tuition fee of 30/- and upwards. N.B. —All apprentices are regarded as free place students and no TUITION fee is payable. Free place holders under 19 years of age must take two subjects to maintain their free place. Evening students must be at least 15 years of age. Evening classes will commence on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1950, at 7 p.m. The provisional Timetable is as follows: MONDAY— Senior Cabinet Making, Building Construction Theory (apprentices), Motor Mechanics Theory (apprentices), Technical Electricity, Junior Dressmaking, Welding, Automotive, Electricity. TUESDAY— Commercial Art, Shorthand and Typing, Senior Dressmaking; Senior Motor Mechanics Practice (apprentices), Bookkeeping. WEDNESDAY— Junior Motor Mechanics Practical (apprentices), Cabinet Making (Junior). THURSDAY— Crafts, Shorthand and Typing, Accountancy, Embroidery, Engineering Workshop Practice, Electrical Wiring and Fitting, Building Construction Practice (apprentices), Trade Certification Motor Mechanics.
