Indicator out of Action —For some time the indicator on the water tower was out of action, with the result that engineers at the power-house could not tell when the tank was full. As a consequence, water was often pumped in when it was full, and ran to waste in the river. The indicator is now in working order again.—Band to Pass Through: The St. Kilda Band will play a musical selection on the railway station platform to-morrow afternoon. / The band will travel north by the first express, en route to Auckland, where it will take part in the Dominion contest.
