ST. JAMES THEATRE

“Mr Reckless,” commencing to-night at the St. James Theatre, is enacted by a. cast headed by William Eythe and Barbard Britton. Eythe plays the title role of a daredevil of the oil derricks whose romancing keys a drama set in the adventurous oil fields. Miss Britton is cast as the girl this roughneck car.not forget. He returns after a prolonged absence, only to find she has decided to marry his old friend, a likeable, comically-accented restaurant owner. But the old spark still burns between the former sweethearts, a development which builds suspensefully until friendship between the two men turns to murderous hate. Then, after a tragic climax, the young lovers Ure united.
