BITES AND BLACK EYES

Fight In Italian House (Rec. 11.0 a.m.) ROME, Feb. 14. Fists flailed and feet flew as Left and Right Wing Deputies—about 50 in all—joined battle for 25 minutes to-day on the floor of Parliament. The Speaker cleared the House and ordered an adjournment to break up the battle. When the kicking and punching ended, six Deputies, including a woman, were treated for bites and black eyes at the Parliamentary first-aid post. . The fighting began after the Prime Minister, Signor De Gasperi, referred to the recent shooting of six strikers at Modena.
