Empire Games Tram Passengers
Passengers carried by Auckland trains to the carnival preceding the Empire Games and to the Empire Games were estimated at 17G.540 in a report to the Auckland Transport Board yesterday: 83,440 carried ii'om the city and 93,100 carried to the city after the events. An additional 7G4 trams were provided in the period, January 25 to February 11.—P.A.
