DROUGHT IN THE ARGENTINE
BEEF EXPORTS MAY BE AFFECTED - (Rec. 10.0) NEW YORK, Feb. 12. Aragentina’s beef exports to Britain are likely to begin falling below thv Anglo-Argentine meat agreement quotas in April or May because of extreme drought conditions, says the “New York Times.” The paper’s Buenos Aires correspondent, describing the drought as probably the worst in Argentina’s history says the corn crop lias already failed, and the- next three or four months will determine the cattle industry’s fate.
