SEVENTY POISONED

FACTORY CANTEEN FOOD (Rec. 11.0 a.m.) ‘SYDNEY, This Day. About 70 workers at the factory of the Telephone and Electrical Industries Proprietary Ltd., in the suburb of Meadowbank, were stricken with food poisoning after they had a meal at the factory canteen. The most serious cases were rushed by ambulance to hospital and the others were treated at the factory. Only three remained in hospital to-day. Salmon rissoles are the chief suspects in an investigation now being carried out.
