DRAMA CIRCLE

METHVEN ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Methven drama circle was held recently. Mr A. G. Paulin presided over a large attendance. The balance-sheet was presented by Miss J. Kilworth. The following officers were elected: President, Mr R. J. Dunkley; vicepresident, Mr B. V. Pearce; secretary, Mrs A. G. Rawlinson; treasurer, Mr .D. Anderson; committee, Mesdames G. Goldsborough and E. A. Mangin, Miss J. Kilworth and Mr J. Dixon. Mr Paulin reported that the services of Mr G. Worthington (adult Education Department drama tutor) would be available for the next production. Casting would take place early next week, and all members and intending members were asked to be present. It was decided that in future this organisation will be acting under the name of “The Methven Players.”
