THREE-QUARTER MILE RECORD. LONDON, August 7. S. C. Wooderson, in the presence of 45,000 people at Ibrox Park, Glasgow, in spite of a stiff head wind, set a new three-quarter mile record of 180 9-10 see. R. Thomas was second and B. Eeles was third. The race was won by 35 yards.
